In today's world people's chances of traveling fall into two categories, they can or they can't. Money is mostly the issue. It's hard for people to not experience the world as others can.

But...

There is an alternate. Books are an all in one deal package when you first buy them. AND you can visit the world over and over again. Countries and cities that only you can explore and not the people who travel the world. Plus you never have to leave the comfort of your blanket and couch. Food is cheap and the company is great.

So if you are ever disappointed that you will miss a trip, turn a page and continue the journey

A Thought When in Fear

Courage isn't a matter of not being

frightened, you know.

It's being afraid and doing

what you have to do anyway

No man has ever gone into battle and wasn't afraid. No student hasn't been nervous before a speech. Everyone is frightened at the important times in life. To have courage is simply moving your legs forward. Courage is speaking, even when you are being watched. Fear makes you human. So don't hate it. But the choice you base on your courage shows the person you are. Doing what must be done or turning and running.

Fear will guide you. Courage will shape you

Shining like a Star

And at the end of the day,

This year. I can't even begin the list of adventures I went on and the things I did. Every day my family and I did something new and almost always, we were tired, messy, and worn out as every day closed. But each one of us had a new memory and a new smile. And the funny thing about the way our eyes sparkled was we didn't plan it. The entire day went with the flow. We skipped different events. Turned around to see another town. I didn't write as much as I wanted to or a book took twice as long to read. Sometimes we didn't accomplish a single check on our to-do list. But we had the time of our lives. Every second counted. 

And as the time of travel comes to a close, our eyes have never glimmered more

Reason For Happening

Someday you will look back,

and know exactly

why it had to happen

Nobody can see the future, no one will know what is to happen. It is a mystery and it may not be solved for years to come. All we know is the present, the story happening now. There is a reason every time. Coincidences don't exist. So if the reason for pain or sadness is unanswered. If you wonder why you agree or said no. Stop thinking. Put the questions to the side. Pray. Ask Elohim to show you how to finish the issue and how to get through. Because one day you will look back, and even though you can't see it now, it will show how it shaped you into someone better.

You will soon see why. Just take your time through the good and the bad alike

A Look to Adventure

As soon as I saw you I knew an

Do you ever look at someone and think I could travel the world with them? Even people you have just met. I have done this once or twice. Planning flies through my mind, marking wonders to see and places to go. But this quote has another meaning. Do you ever look at someone and think, starting now, my life will turn into the grandest adventure with them? Adventures don't require places to go or things to do. Everyday little things in your life become a bit more grand with that person. You never have a need to look for entertainment. It just happens where ever you go with them!
That is what makes life an adventure.

Adventures only require a friend and a will to go

my favorite song

I could listen to you all day long. At first, I only heard the melody. It was sweet and full of life. Over time, the lyrics were learned. Once in a while, I would sing them. Now, they are stuck in my head, everywhere I go. A smile grows when I hear my favorite song and I sing as long as I can.

Better a broken heart

A broken heart is a sign of love. Any kind of love. It shows you know how to be kind, how to be compassionate, how to be faithful, how to be patient, how to be generous, and how to be courteous. No heart leads to the brokenness of others. You don't have to wear your broken heart to show the world, but do not be ashamed of it either.

When we first met, you were just a name. I learned it and said it often. Time later, the name grew. It became a want to be closer. The gap turned into nothing and we were one. Now, as I sit by your side, as you hold me close, your name sounds like more. It sounds like my heart. And I soon saw that you and my heart were the same.

A Miss I Will Remember

I think I'll miss you forever,

like the stars miss the sun

in the morning skies

We remember the important things. Why fill our minds with things we don't care about?

The people we care about stay in our minds and in our hearts. We miss them always, as many times as we think of them. Forever you will stay with us and miss you the as long. We care about the things that are good so we hold onto those.

We don't regret the moments that we did, where we rather regret the moments we didn't do. At a young age, we feel as if we can't or we are too scared. The moment is put off for a little time here or a year there. Then one day, we look in the mirror to see a person who is no longer able to go on an adventure, willingly or not. Take the moment while you can, before you can't

What if it doesn't work out?

Ah, but what if it does

No one wants their heart broken, girls and guys alike. Admiring from afar, the slight flutter in you have when you hear their name, seems to be the safest. How will you ever learn to love if you don't experience it? Yes, your heart might break. But at the same time, it might grow. Just make sure it is someone you truly will love, not a seasonal one.

Tears are words

the heart can't say

Body language says a lot, more than our words do. So when we cry, it is a silent language saying that you need someone. For comfort or for love. Even for something silly such as a romantic movie. Our heart yearns to say so many words. Crying is the only way to say those things.

In an odd way, crying is a comfort.

Keep Yourself Together

It takes ten times as long

to put yourself back together

as it does to fall apart

This quote is another of my favorites. It shows that you can't fall apart. Even though it hurts now, that it feels unbearable, it is protecting you from the worst pain. Don't let the suffering destroy you, don't let it break you. You have to stay strong, it's going to ache, it will throb, and it will hurt. But you can't. Trying to put yourself back together is almost impossible.

Love to Last

Love is patient.

Don't rush what you

want to last forever

One day, we keep saying to ourselves. One day. We will meet our soulmate, our prince charming. The man who will sweep us off our feet one day. We also keep hoping that that day is today. We search for a glance, a comment, a smile our way. I think this way too. But I also say to myself, once I meet him, I won't have the butterflies in my stomach or the thump in my chest when I hear his name. I won't fall out of love with him, but it will be a new love, one that we discover together.

Blind in the Shadows

Stars can't shine

without darkness

Every day of our life is like the night sky. The sun disappears and the shadows surround us. We are left in the darkness, blind to what is around and ahead of us. Then, slowly and surely, teeny tiny bits of light poke through the black canvas. They guide the way, showing that we are not alone. You have to go through the darkness to see the beauty, to see the stars.

Too Quick to Past

We are only a moment

This sentence may be upsetting at first glance, but then I hope you see it a little bit differently. We are only a moment, that's true, for a world that has been spinning for thousands of years. We are tiny, small as sand, compared to the history of the earth. But that is what makes it better. We are only a moment, yes, but this is our moment. We can shine or we can fall. We can dance or we can watch. We can have people remember this moment or let it fade.

It is our choice. Because this is our moment, our time, our life.

A Thousand Stories to See

A reader lives a thousand

lives before they die

We read to escape, to hope that maybe one day we could have adventures as our characters do. What we don't see is that we have already done all things in books. We've survived the disasters, sailed to the great unknown, found romance, fought pirates and robots, see things that we couldn't dream. We have been everywhere from the meer corner of our seat. We lived the lives of those in the pages of an old dusty story on a brown wooden shelf, who are people that are only a few words and nothing more.

We read the stories, to become the stories.

Every girl wants to be beautiful. Dozens of ways are tried to pamper girls to be pretty. But they don't need the world to judge how they look when the world is the one pushing them down. We all have been beautiful, we just didn't see it. Until that one day when a guy, just one person, is there to tell how you really look.

Ears to Hear

The quieter you become,

the more you can hear.

One thing about me is that I am almost always quiet. Part of it is from being shy, but the other part is that I listen. I want to hear everything I can from people talking to the sound of rain. I perfer to listen than to talk. Take some time, even for one minute a day, every day to hear the birds singing a song outside or the morning breeze in the trees. Seeing what you can hear from this little time will show you what you miss every busy day.
